Tales about Aviation, Coaching, Farming, Software Development

La Startup now available as a Kindle eBook

I have published La Startup as a Kindle eBook.

The story began as a serialized fintech telenovela set in Bogotá. At the center is FinPulso, a startup that raised serious money, promised transformation, and then drifted into the familiar mix of delivery pressure, missing transparency, damaged trust, and technical chaos. There is romance, betrayal, status games, and investor drama, but underneath all that it is also a story about how software organizations lose their way.

If you work in software development, product, or leadership, you will probably recognize some of the patterns. A team gets trapped by image management. Numbers stop reflecting reality. Important decisions get made too far away from the code and too close to fear. The telenovela format gave me a way to explore those patterns through characters instead of presenting them as abstract advice.

The Kindle edition is here:

If you would rather read it on the web, the story is still available episode by episode here:

La Startup on Caimito

I like the book format because it turns the story into something easier to read in longer stretches. Instead of moving from episode to episode on the website, you can follow the whole arc in one place.

So if you want a story about startup dysfunction, software delivery reality, and Bogotá-style drama, the Kindle edition is now ready.
